About

Me

Hmm.. who am I? Well, maybe my cv would be of some assistance to that, you can also find my contact details in there.  Currently working in Finland as a Storage System Specialist. This blog is a way for me to keep up and maybe document some of what I do in all that spare time between studying Finnish. The posts about certifications are a way for me to study. I find that writing things down in a structured way helps.

I am quite active on the HP Server and Storage parts of the forum previous known as ITRC – it is now known as Enterprise Business Community, you can see my profile here. I’m also quite active on Brocade’s Forum, at least the part about Fibre Channel.

RSS and categories

The storage category is focusing on storage, SAN and data networks.
The Finland category is about anything that is not about IT.
The IT category will is about the rest of IT :)

Hy, you know anything facts that some CP8 Revisions are not working with 8.2.3 FOS ? on the 8510 Plattform

On a LAB device i have the situation that A07 CPs not working.
On startup process comes (the bond0 mac adress change failed)

and the eth0 ports shows with ethif (00:00:00:00:00:00) > (00:00:00:00:00:03)

The Rev. 09 works fine, and have correct mac address.

On the Board i see some differences by the ethernet Chip, (BCM5461SA2KQMG) CG1214
